Please note: Some changes may have been made to the Time Savers Add-in for PowerPoint since the making of this video.

The “Position Selected Shapes” group is part of the “TS Shapes” tab (previously part of the “TS Design” tab, formerly called “Time Savers 1”) of the Time Savers Add-in for PowerPoint.

The tools in this part of the Time Savers Add-in make it possible for you to:

  • Position shapes by aligning them to a reference shape.
  • Position shapes and tables on the slide individually or all together as though they were grouped.

General:

  • Remember: shapes can include anything that can be placed on a slide (shape/picture/table/chart etc.).
  • Shapes and tables can easily all be positioned together as a unit.

Align shapes to a reference shape:

  • The shape selected first will be the reference shape. All other shapes will be positioned based on the position of the reference shape.

  • Position shapes together
    • All selected shapes will be positioned together as a unit based on the position of the reference shape, without changing their positions in relation to each other.
