Privacy Policy

I, Colleen Schwartz, the owner of Colleen’s Cosmic Collection, respect your privacy and am committed to protecting it. I endeavour to do so through this Privacy Policy.

My website address is: https://www.colleenscosmiccollection.co.za. I will hereafter refer to it as my Website.

Please ensure that you read through this Privacy Policy carefully before using any part of my Website. If you access and use any content or services on my Website, whether as a registered user or a guest, I will take that to mean that you accept and agree to the terms laid out in this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept and agree to these terms, please do not access my Website.

When you access my Website, I will gain certain information about you. Some of this information is gathered automatically, while other information is gathered as a result of voluntary actions you may take while using my Website. The terms in this Policy refer to all information gathered about you, whether that is on my Website, or through emails or other forms of communication between you and my Website, or me.

What personal data I collect and why I collect it

Personal Data

You will be required to provide certain information, including your name, your address and your email address when you register as a user or make a purchase. I will also have access to your IP address and it will be recorded in my system.

I will use this information to process and complete your orders, to improve your experience on my Website and to send you offers, promotions and other information. You will be free to unsubscribe from emails at any time, should you wish to do so.

Transactional Data

I will collect information regarding what products you purchased, the cost and any discounts that may have applied. I will use this information to help me know what products are more popular, which will help me to know how to move forward with future product creation.

I will not collect any of your financial information. All payments are made either through PayPal or PayFast, so you will not enter any financial details on my Website.

Locational Data

I am based in South Africa. I am therefore keen to provide my products in South African Rands to my fellow South Africans. However, I am very conscious that this would be inconvenient to people living elsewhere in the world. As such, I have set up my Website with Geolocation, so that anybody in South Africa will see the prices of my products in SA Rands, and anyone anywhere else in the world will see the prices in US Dollars.

Contact Forms

When you contact me with a contact form, you will be required to fill in your name and your email address. I will use this information purely for the purpose of responding to your message. I will only retain your information for as long as it takes me to help you with your request or concern. I will not use information gathered from contact forms for marketing purposes.

Cookies

I use cookies to optimise my Website and my service. Please see my Cookies Policy for detailed information regarding the cookies used.

This may include your IP address, your browsing actions and patterns, your location and what type of device you use. The data that is collected automatically by these technologies is statistical and does not include personal information. If you have voluntarily provided personal information, your information will be associated with the automatically collected statistical data.

Third Party Services

I use automated data collection technologies, including Google Analytics, to collect statistical data.
