How to Load and Update for the Time Savers Add-in for PowerPoint

Please note: Some changes may have been made to the Time Savers Add-in for PowerPoint since the making of this video.


IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED THE ADD-IN FILE BEFORE AND LOADED IT IN POWERPOINT (WITH THE TRIAL VERSION OR THE LICENCE FOR A PARTICULAR SECTION OF THE ADD-IN) YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO IT AGAIN.

Updates

  • If there are any updates, you simply need to replace the Time Savers Add-in file with the updated version and the add-in should update automatically in PowerPoint.
  • First, make sure that PowerPoint is closed before downloading an update.
  • Second, download the updated Time Savers Add-in file
  • Move the updated Time Savers Add-in file from your Downloads folder into the folder that contains the old version of the add-in (do this by dragging or cutting and pasting). A message should pop up saying that the destination already has a file named ‘TimeSaversAddin.ppam’. Click on the option to replace the file in the destination.
  • Finally, open PowerPoint and check that the updated add-in file is being recognised. You should not need to load it again.
  • Please note: You should only ever have 1 COPY of the Time Savers Add-in file on your computer.
