General Information - Time Savers Add-in for PowerPoint

Shapes

When the Time-Savers Add-in refers to ‘shapes’, this includes:
- Shapes
- Pictures
- Tables
- Groups (A group is considered a single shape.)

When you make a change to a drop-down, input or toggle button on the ribbon, if you undo it will undo the change to the settings – but not show on the ribbon. You may need to redo the change to the ribbon by changing to something else and then changing back again.
Example: You select ‘Resize’ in the ‘Slides’ group. You then undo (ctrl + Z / cmd + Z) and the settings are changed back to what they were before you selected ‘Resize’, but the ribbon will still show ‘Resize’. When you use the function the backgrounds will not be resized (even though the ribbon still shows ‘Resize’). If you still want to change the setting to ‘Resize’, you will need to change to something else and then back to ‘Resize’ again. If you try to just select ‘Resize’ again while it still shows ‘Resize’ in the ribbon, the add-in won’t see that a change was made, as the ribbon is still the same as it was before – and the settings won’t be changed to ‘resize’.

As the Time Savers Add-in is growing, it is taking up more space in the ribbon, so I have made it possible to hide tabs that you are not using.
On the far right of each tab there is a group that allows you to show/hide each of the other tabs in the add-in.
Simply select a tab’s button to show the tab or deselect the button to hide the tab.

As more features are being added to the Time Savers Add-in, each of the tabs is becoming increasingly full – making it more difficult to access some of the features, especially when you are working on a smaller screen.
On the far right (or far left) of each tab there is a group that allows you to show/hide each of the groups of features in the tab.
Simply select a group’s button to show the group or deselect the button to hide the group.
You can click on the green arrow button to move this group from the far right to the far left, or from the far left to the far right.
This means you can now hide the features you use less frequently – making it easier to access the features you use more often!
This has not been done for the Time Savers 4 tab (Marketplaces) as all functions in the tab need to be used together.
